Armorel Baseball wins via forfeit in the first round of the district tournament. We play Saturday morning at 10:00am vs Marked Tree at Marked Tree.
Baseball District Tournament Update! Due to wet playing conditions today's games will now be played at Marked Tree. Armorel vs Maynard at 3:00 and Hillcrest vs CRA at 5:00. We will update you on Saturday's games location and time this evening.
Today's District Baseball games have been postponed. Games will start tomorrow at 1:00 with Armorel vs Maynard and then Hillcrest vs CRA at 3:00. Softball District tournament starts tomorrow as scheduled with Maynard vs Marked Tree at noon, the winner of that game vs Mammoth Spring at 2:00, Hillcrest vs Armorel at 4:00 and the championship game at 6:00.
Baseball will be playing AT Maynard today to finish the conference schedule. The game will begin at 4:30. There will be no home game today and the game with Riverside will be not be made up.
Armorel High School will have our final pre-registration meeting tomorrow (Thursday, April 22, 2021) in the high school library. Pre-Registration will run from 5:30 to 6:30 and is open to all 7th and 8th grade students.

Tomorrow we will begin ACT Aspire testing as mandated by the state department of education. We are asking for your help in ensuring your child gets the proper rest they need and eat breakfast in the mornings to give them their best opportunity to score their best. We are also asking your help and making sure students charges their devices, force close all tasks, and disable Siri and dictation services on their MacBooks. All of these things will help testing run as smoothly as possible without disruptions. Also, all cellphones will be turned off during testing times and put away. We thank you for your continued support your child’s education!

Schedule update: Baseball will now play CRA in a double header tomorrow starting at 4:00 at Armorel. This is 30 minutes earlier than regularly scheduled.
Huge thank you to our great community for the success of the first Armorel Tigers 4-man Scramble held at Thunder Bayou today. We hosted 88 golfers, 27 hole sponsors, 12 tournament sponsors, current athletic teams, school administrators and board members and a great number of alumni today. We were able to surpass our goal for money raised for our athletic department! Great things happen when a community can gather together and celebrate our youth, and this is merely a watermark of what is coming for our students.

Baseball schedule update: Armorel will now host Hillcrest Friday April 2nd starting at 3:30.
Tomorrow’s baseball game at Riverside has been cancelled. Spring sports are weather dependent which causes many schedule changes both on our end and other schools. Our coaches greatly appreciate the flexibility of our parents and fans during a spring that has been as wet as this one and will continue to create a schedule that is both competitive and safe for the athletes to play.
Armorel School is aware that the Governor has lifted the mask mandate for the state of Arkansas. As we have all along, Armorel School will continue to follow the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health recommendations in wearing masks while on school campus, buses, and any school activities. Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we strive to maintain a safe environment for our students and staff. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and give updates as needed.

The Armorel Baseball team will travel to Marked Tree tomorrow for a make up game starting at 4:00. The bus will leave at 2:00. This is weather permitting and subject to change.
