With close to 24 years of teaching experience across nine different subjects, she’s passionate about inspiring students to become informed and thoughtful citizens. Coach Shannon Miller has been coaching and teaching at Armorel for 15 years. As head coach of the Senior High boys’ basketball and track teams, he is known for his tough-love coaching style. Coach Miller motivates players by holding them accountable, encouraging them with positive reinforcement, and celebrating every success, big or small. Come out tonight to support our awesome coaches and Tiger basketball at their annual Orange & White Night Scrimmage as we kick off basketball season! Games start at 5! 🏀🐾

Freshman Jimena describes her school year as fun and relaxed. She enjoys her classes, especially with Mr. Byrd, and values Coach Malone’s kindness. Basketball is her favorite hobby. Jimena is focused on improving her grades. Her advice to new students: focus on yourself, your grades, and surround yourself with positive people. AHS is proud of Jimena and excited to see her reach her goals!
